Bio-Speedy Gastroenteritis RT-qPCR MX-24 Panel

Acute gastroenteritis is a disease that occurs when food or water contaminated with pathogenic microorganisms or toxins is consumed. Symptoms may include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, fever, abdominal pain, and tenesmus. Gastroenteritis is one of the most common health problems, with high morbidity and mortality rates in children and the elderly. Therefore, a rapid and accurate agent diagnosis is essential for appropriate treatment.
Intended Use: Bio-Speedy® Gastroenteritis RT-qPCR MX-24 Panel is a multiplex kit designed to detect and differentiate 5 viral, 15 bacterial, and 4 parasitic agents.
Operation and Duration: Bio-Speedy® Gastroenteritis RT-qPCR MX-24 Panel provides Real-Time PCR results in a less than 60-minute protocol after nucleic acid extraction from the stool and rectal swab samples. In a 96-well instrument, 10 sample results can be obtained simultaneously within the Negative and Positive controls.
Validated and Compatible devices: Bio-Speedy® Gastroenteritis RT-qPCR MX-24S Panel is validated with Bio-Speedy® vNAT® Transfer Tube (Catalog No: BS-NA-513-100), vNAT® Transfer Tube (Catalog No: BS-NA-513m-100) and Zybio EXM3000 Nucleic Acid Isolation System (Model No: EXM3000).
The RT-qPCR is carried out in 20 μL reaction volume using the CFX96 Touch™/CFX96™ Dx/CFX Opus 96™/CFX Opus 96™ Dx (Bio-Rad) Real-Time PCR detection systems equipped with the FAM, HEX, ROX, and CY5 detection channels.
